James Vitale has
had a passion for health and fitness for over 20 years. It
started with his interest in the Martial arts at age 16. This passion took him to Japan where he lived
for several years studying the language, martial arts and was introduced to the healing
arts of Acupuncture & Shiatsu. After several years in Japan,
China and Asia, he returned to his native Long Island, where he
continued his in depth study of acupuncture and health.

Ron Sandoval
has
been involved in bodywork and holistic medicine professionally for eight years. He has a
Bachelors degree in Psychology from Adelphi University. He began his career as a massage
therapist in 1996 after graduating from The New York College for Wholistic Health
Education and Research. He later went on to study Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego California, before returning to the New
York College of finish his Masters Degree in Acupuncture. After completing his degree in
Acupuncture, he went on to a two-year postgraduate course in Kanpo Japanese Herbal
Medicine with Nigel Dawes.
He has been in private practice in West Hempstead, NY since 1999 and in Huntington, NY
since 2001, successfully treating a wide variety of ailments including but not limited to,
chronic pain management, acute injuries, stress management, hypertension, digestive
disorders, womens issues and infertility.
He has studied with Masters in the field of Acupuncture such as Peter Yates, Junji
Mizutani, Akizo Okada, Stephen Brown and Master Share K. Lew. He continues to learn from
top practitioners in the field, consistently refining the skills, which he brings to his
practice.
His personal practice of meditation and self-awareness, along with his passion for life
and the well being of others, allows him to establish an environment of comfort and trust
within his practice.

Dr.
Vincent Thomas Gaffney
is certified as an
Advanced Hypnotist by the National Guild of Hypnotists and is a National Board Certified
Clinical Hypnotist. He has earned a Bachelor
of Science degree in Psychology and Education, a Masters degree in Education and Special
Education, a Professional Diploma in Educational Administration and a Doctorate in
Clinical Hypnosis from Albert University. He
is a licensed New York State and New York City teacher and administrator and an Adjunct
Professor in the Graduate School of Education of Long Island Universitys C.W. Post
Campus. He has conducted over one thousand
sessions of hypnosis, focusing on areas such as weight management, smoking cessation,
stress reduction, sports enhancement and reduction of test anxiety.

Danziger - Yoga Instructor . I have been a yoga practitioner
for over fifteen years and I am certified by Long island
Yoga Association .I am also an artist and textile designer
and have found that
yoga has kept me focused and and inspired in my work
. I am offering a yoga fertility class focusing on
relaxation and energizing the sacral chakra which is
responsible for reproductive organs .
Shannon
McElhone-Bobo - Yoga
Instructor
Shannon grew up on Long Island. She has her Bachelor’s
degree in Human Relations from St. Joseph’s College. She is
a Medicaid Service Coordination Supervisor at UCP Suffolk
where she coaches staff on how to assist individuals with
disabilities to achieve their life goals.
Shannon received her 200 hour certification from Less Stress
Yoga this year and is currently working on obtaining her 500
hour certification. She is a member of the Long Island
Yoga Association and continues to expand her knowledge by
attending various workshops and weekend retreats.
Shannon has been trained in Hatha, Restorative, Kundalini
Yoga, and Meditation. She will be offering a Basic Yoga
class to enhance the mind, body, and spirit of each student
on Tuesday nights from 7-8:15pm. This class can benefit
students of all levels.
